A Status Yellow Wind warning has been issued for Mayo.

The weather warning will be valid from 4pm today (Thursday, November 27) until 6am tomorrow (Friday, November 28).

Met Éireann says there will be strong to gale force and gusty southwesterly winds, with potential impacts being difficult travelling conditions, debris, and loose objects displaced.
