ALERT: Update on Storm Bram Mayo weather warning

A Status Orange Wind weather warning has been issued for Mayo amid the arrival of Storm Bram.

The weather warning will be valid from 10am on Tuesday (December 9) until 9pm the same day - a three-hour extension from the original 6pm time.

Wind warnings in place for Tues 09/12

🟠Orange warning for Cork, Kerry, Wexford, Wicklow
Valid: 09/12 07:00 to 15:00

🟠Orange warning for Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo
Valid: 09/12 10:00 to 21:00

Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with severe gusts.

Impacts include flooding of low-lying coastal areas - especially during high tide, wave overtopping, difficult travel conditions, debris, loose objects being displaced, outdoor events being impacted and power outages.
