ALERT: Motorists advised of upcoming delays on busy Mayo road

Road Works will be taking place on the L1724 - Rathbawn Road, Castlebar, on the following dates:

Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th and Friday 26th September 9.10am to 4:00pm each day.

Mayo County Council say a Stop/Go System Traffic Management will be in operation and delays are expected.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes if possible, while emergency vehicles will be accommodated.

Local access will also be provided, but there may be some delays.
