Mayo Volleyball Club ladies secure back-to-back wins to maintain 100% record

Mayo Volleyball Club’s Division 3 Ladies team continued their impressive form over the weekend, securing two hard-fought victories against Midlands and Cavan Cats in back-to-back matches on Saturday. With 3-1 wins in both games, the team extended their unbeaten streak to four, keeping their 100% record intact.
Strong teamwork and individual brilliance were on full display throughout the matches. Aine Joyce delivered composed serves under pressure, while Grace Horan and Viktoria Balik-Nowak dominated at the net with powerful hits. Ana Posaric provided precision passing to keep the team in control, and Ellena Coffey’s diving saves proved crucial in key moments.
Both opponents posed significant challenges, with Midlands showcasing a strong offensive presence and Cavan Cats proving scrappy in defence. However, Mayo’s chemistry, communication, and relentless support for one another ensured they stayed ahead. New players also stepped up, seamlessly integrating into the team and contributing to the victories.
This latest success highlights the depth and determination of Mayo Volleyball Club very young side, as they look forward to their upcoming three fixtures this weekend: Kildare on Saturday, March 1, while they face both Athenry and Midlands on Sunday, March 2.
