Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a shooting in Limerick city.
A man in his 60s is being treated at University Hospital Limerick after the incident outside a home on the Hyde Road at around 4:30pm on Sunday.
It is understood he is in a stable condition.
Speaking to Newstalk, Reporter David Raleigh says it is believed the shooting is linked to an ongoing criminal feud: "Garda understand one of two masked armed men travelling on bicycles or motorbikes pulled up outside a house at Hyde Road and fired multiple shots.
"The shots hit the man, and he is being treated at University Hospital Limerick for gunshot wounds to his chest."
