Man (40s) charged in connection with €122k drug seizure in Laois

A man in his 40s has been arrested and is being detained at a Garda station in Offaly.

A man has been charged in connection with a €122,000 drug seizure in County Laois.

A search of a home in Stradbally led to Gardaí finding €85,000 worth of cannabis, €35,000 worth of cocaine, and cannabis resin valued at over €2,000.

A man in his 40s was arrested and has since been charged.

He is expected to appear before Portlaoise District Court on Thursday.
