A man has been arrested after a 3D-printed firearm and drugs were seized by gardaí in Ballymun, Dublin 9, on Wednesday, October 22nd.

As part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs and related criminal activity in the area, members from the Ballymun Drugs Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Ballymun at around 8pm.

During the course of the search, gardaí seized the 3D-printed firearm, around €300 of suspected diamorphine and €1,680 of suspected Zopiclone tablets, subject to analysis.

A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at a garda station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region North.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
