Man (30s) seriously injured in Kildare assault

A man in his 30s has been seriously injured in an assault in Naas, Co Kildare.

The assault occurred at a commercial premises on the Newbridge Road on Tuesday, April 14th at around 10pm.

A man in his 30s attended Naas General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.

A technical examination of the scene was carried out.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.

Anyone in the vicinity of Newbridge Road, Naas, Co Kildare on Tuesday, April 14th, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm, who may have camera footage, including dash cam, has been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.

Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
