The Copernicus Climate Change Service says the combined average temperature across Western Europe over the past two months was 21 .62 degrees, beating the record set in 2022.

Over the 12 months since June 2025, the data reveals an increase of 1,567 (9.8 per cent) in emergency accommodation.
