A Government report about the Limerick refinery is expected within days.

There is a need to ‘understand’ the impact of any potential sanctions on alumina, the Tánaiste has said.

A report into the Limerick alumina refinery is expected within 10 days, Peter Burke has told the Dáil.

The Enterprise Minister said Swedish authorities had provided ‘additional evidence over the last 10 days’.

Alumina has not been included in sanctions against Russia to date, Kaja Kallas said.
