Two brothers have gone on trial at the Central Criminal Court charged with trying to murder another pair of brothers living at the unofficial site in Co Offaly last year.

The injured party was socialising in Temple Bar when he was approached by McDonagh who asked him for a cigarette.

Michael McDonagh (49) pleaded guilty to endangerment, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and having no insurance on June 25th, 2020

Michael McDonagh (35) is charged with threatening and abusive behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
