The drugs were found during a search under warrant at a home in the St Mary's Park area of the city.

A search of a van resulted in the recovery of 1.2kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €84,000.

An exhibit officer, who showed the two sports bags to the jury, informed the court that there were a total of 24,700 tablets in the 205 boxes.
