Sinn Féin remains the country's most popular party on 20 per cent despite losing two points, with Fianna Fáil down one point to 16 per cent.

A Sunday Inde­pend­ent/Ire­land Thinks poll revealed that the public is braced for a global recession in the wake of the war in Iran.

Sinn Féin are up slightly to 19.3, while there is a rise of over two percent for the Social Democrats, who are up by 2.5 to 7.3.
