A campaigner hoping to bring the All-Ireland Fleadh to Ballina in 2028 is planning to auction off a signed letter he received from US President Joe Biden to raise funds for the proposed Ballina Fleadh.

A campaigner hoping to see the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil come to Ballina in 2028 has called on Mayo County Council to send a delegation to this year’s Fleadh in Wexford as part of a ‘fact-finding’ mission.

The man who hopes to bring the 2027 All-Ireland Fleadh to Ballina has hit out at “negative comments” made by Mayo Co Council chief executive Kevin Kelly.
