Foroige Amplified Concert/Change of Mass time

Knockmore Foroige are holding their annual Amplified concert at the local GAA grounds on Saturday evening, July 4. Due to same the Vigil Mass in Christ the King Church, Knockmore will be at the earlier time of 7pm.

Jackpot winner

Congratulations to Marie Lacken who was the lucky winner of the €2,400 Jackpot in the Currabaggan School online Lotto. Well done Marie. The numbers drawn were 1, 6,11 and 27.

Conn Rangers lotto draw

The numbers drawn on June 15, were 12, 21 22 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. Season and weekly winners were Davy's Tool Hire, Joe Faughnan, Angela O'Boyle, David Butler, Ronan Weir and Linda McHale. Lucky dip winner was Claire O'Boyle. The jackpot in the draw which was held on June 22 was €16,950. 

Recent Baptisms

Welcomed into God's family at their recent baptism in Christ the King Church, Knockmore, was Odhran Bourke. Congratulations to his proud parents and families.

Cemetery Masses

The annual Mass in Ballinahaglish Cemetery will be celebrated on Sunday, August 2, and in Cloghans Cemetery on Sunday, August 9, with both at 6pm.

Butterflies Playschool Afternoon Session

Butterflies Playschool in Knockmore is now offering an afternoon ECCE session from 12.30pm -3.30pm. There are limited spaces available, and for more information contact Lucy at playschool@knockmore.ie.

Weekly adoration

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Wednesday in Knockmore Church from 10.30am to 6pm. 

Knockmore Bingo

Bingo continues every Monday evening in the community hall with valuable prizes to be won. Refreshments are served also, so why not go along and support on the night.

End of Year Masses

To mark the end of the national school term Mass was celebrated in Currabaggan, Cloghans, Lisaniska and Rehins schools during the past week. Congratulations to all the children who graduated last week from the national schools.

Well done to the members of the Knockmore Village Enhancement committee who turned out to do a weed and clean up of margins in the village on Saturday morning last. It would be appreciated if all household would continue to maintain their area.

There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night, June 20, in Maughan’s Bar, when the numbers drawn were 8, 10, 12 and 14 with one match three winner - the Naughton family Cian, Tiernan and Moya, Roo, Gort, Co Galway and they won the €150 prize.
