Crossmolina
There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel Rovers GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night, May 9, in Hiney’s Bar, when the numbers drawn were 3, 17, 23 and 30. Three punters matched three numbers - Evan Lavelle, Church View, Crossmolina; Noreen Moran, Creevy, Castlehill, Ballina; and Katie Daly, Cavan, and they won €50 each.
A new table tennis club is to open in Foxford in the near future. To date, 30 adults and 12 juveniles (U18s) have registered.
Training will commence on June 2, and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9pm for adults and Sunday afternoons from 4 to 6pm for under 18s.
The club are in search of table tennis tables to provide suitable entertainment for the large membership expected. For further information, contact 086-8373646.

Welcomed into God’s family was Fionn Patrick Mullarkey who was baptised in Bonniconlon Church recently.
The numbers drawn in the Bonniconlon lotto which was held on Saturday, May 9, for a jackpot of €14,900 were 9, 15, 24 and 27. The €40 prizewinners were John Smith, Laughty; Eoghan Greavy, Chaffhill; Breege McDonnell, Hollymount; Helen Conlon, Bonniconlon; Noreen Judge, Rathkip.
The latest draw was held on May 16 for a new jackpot of €15,050.

Moygownagh
Moygownagh ICA are up and running with tea in the community centre after Mass starting Sunday, May 24, and every second Sunday for the summer. All are welcome to join for tea, coffee and a chat.
A walking group will begin on Wednesday, May 20, at 8pm starting from the community centre. Please wear high-vis. All members of the community are welcome to come to both events.
The Ronan Clarke Annual 10k Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, June 7, starting at 12 noon from Killala Community Centre.
Connect Café present a talk with David Hicks, Irish Country Homes, in Moygownagh Learning Forum on Thursday, May 21, at 7.30pm.

Congratulations to the children who received their First Holy Communion in Lacken Church recently: JJ Lavin, Aleeya O'Donnell, Rebecca Fogarty, Eabha Togher and Rian Munnelly.

Confirmation took place and congratulations are extended to the Confirmation Class: Leah Munnelly, Amy Lavin, Cathal Kearney and Dylan Noone.

Thank you is extended to those who organised, took part and donated to the Darkness into Light event on May 9 last. The event raised €395 which will be donated to Pieta House for their services.
