Congratulations to Lisa Gallagher, daughter of Antoinette and Gerry Gallagher, Brackwansha, Knockmore and Owen McLoughlin, who were married in a beautiful ceremony celebrated by Fr Michael Reilly, in the Church of Christ the King, Knockmore, on Friday, May 22, last. They were joined for their special occasion by a large number of family relatives and friends. Both Lisa and Owen are wished every happiness and blessing for their future years together.
A rosary for peace is recited every Thursday evening in Knockmore Church. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues every Wednesday in the church from 10.30am-6pm. All welcome to drop in at any time.

The annual Pioneer Total Abstinence Association pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday, July 19, starting with rosary at 2pm. Anointing of the sick will take place at 2.30pm and concelebrated Mass at 3pm. Rosary procession to the Shrine and blessing of religious objects will also take place. There was no winner of Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club lotto jackpot on Saturday night, June 27, in Sticks Bar when the numbers drawn were 4, 7, 21 and 26. Killala Community Text Alert Scheme is up and running. The procedure is if you notice any suspicious activity, you ring the Gardai on 096 20550 and they will decide if it warrants a text being sent to the scheme. If you are not already signed up, its not too late. Call to the community centre and fill up a form.
Killala Community Council (Newstart) Ltd are running a Meals on Wheels service for Killala and surrounding areas. They aim to provide nourishing quality meals at an affordable price to any senior citizen who signs up. The meals will have two courses and can be collected or delivered. Orders can be taken up to 11.30am each day. This service is available to anyone over 60 years or recovering from illness. If interested contact 096 32992/32484.
