Volkswagen reveals new T-Roc

The second-generation T-Roc has been developed completely from scratch with a new design.

Volkswagen’s second-generation T-Roc crossover is due to arrive in Ireland in Q2 of 2026.

The previous model introduced in 2017 sold more than two million units worldwide making the model the world’s most successful SUV from Volkswagen after the Tiguan.

The second-generation T-Roc has been developed completely from scratch with a new design and innovative drive systems and more space for up to five people. Boot volume has also been increased to 475 litres. It is the third Volkswagen to be built on the latest version of the modular MQB platform, after the new Tiguan and the Tayron.

Powertrains will be new mild hybrid and full-hybrid engines with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions. Three grades are planned, each with several option packages.

Pre-sales open later this year.
