Bodies of young girl and man found by gardaí in Dublin

The bodies of a young girl and a man have been found by gardaí in Dublin.

An investigation has begun into the deaths after the pair were discovered at a house in the Heathfield estate in the Cappagh area of Finglas on Saturday.

Emergency services and gardaí were called to the property shortly before 8pm.

Garda Technical Bureau is currently carrying out a forensic examination.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said that they are “investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery of the two bodies”.
