Tullaghan Bay Rowing Club

Congratulations to the club members on completing the Introduction to Coaching course with Rowing Ireland recently. The club are so grateful and proud to have nine coaches of this calibre trained and willing to start their coaching journey. Martin Gaughan, Sean Gallagher, Hugh Egan, Tiernan Gaughan, Nessa Ginty, Megan Coyle, Kevin Carey, Richie Keane and Harry Cronin all completed the training delivered by Jo Aungiers of Rowing Ireland.

If you would like to become involved in the club, to train, to coach or contribute in any way get in touch. The training was facilitated at the Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club.

The club are delighted with the great news that they were awarded €65,000 from the Clár Grant Programme towards the Pontoon Project at Tullaghan Ferry. The club acknowledge the huge support of Cllr. Gerry Coyle, Cllr. Sean Carey and Keira Keogh for their help, assistance and updates with this matter, and they sincerely thank Minister Dara Calleary TD for his professionalism, advice and help in securing this funding. The support was instrumental in the success of the application and they gratefully appreciate his commitment and assistance in the process.

A pontoon at Tullaghan Ferry will allow a safe and inclusive access point to the water for the local fishermen, club members and local boat owners.
