The Erris Parkrun held on May 4, was in memory of Padraig Brogan that was taken all too soon. Padraig was the founder of Erris Parkrun, Ireland’s most westerly parkrun, which he was immensely proud of. Padraig believed in the community working together to make the world a better place. He was an outstanding volunteer who helped in any way he could with lots of organisations. He would have loved the buzz of the occasion on Mayo Day in Belmullet, which he always celebrated in style. May his memory inspire everyone to continue the great work he started. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
