The final bingo in Kilmovee before Christmas is on December 17 and bingo resumes in Kilmovee on January 7, 2024 at 8.30pm. Please note that there will be no bingo in Kilmovee on December 24, Christmas Eve or on December 31, New Years Eve. The committee take this opportunity to thank all its patrons who have supported Kilmovee Bingo through the years. Your support is greatly appreciated and is in no way taken for granted. A monster Christmas table quiz will take place in Aghamore Community Centre on Thursday, December 28, at 8pm. Tables of four cost €40 and all proceeds will be shared jointly between Aghamore and Tooreen GAA clubs. Excellent prizes for the top three teams and generous spot prizes throughout the night. Come along and enjoy a festive, fun night out.

The death took place of George O’Connor, Eden, Fairymount, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon on December 4, peacefully at his home surrounded by his devoted family. George will be missed by his beloved wife Marion, daughters Caitríona, Aoife, Eimear and Bláthnaid, his son Eddie, sons-in-law David, Keith, Joseph and Trevor and Eddie’s partner Caoilfhoinn. He will be loved forever by his beautiful grandchildren Cara, Aoibhín, James, Tom, Ben, David, Peter, Molly, Grace, Vincent, Edel and Annie. George will be sadly missed by his sisters and brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
George reposed at his residence on Wednesday, December 6, and funeral Mass on Thursday, December 7, at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount followed by interment in Fairymount New Cemetery.
The death took place of Sean Kelly, Cappagh, Tooreen, Ballyhaunis, suddenly, at his home. Deeply regretted by his brothers Kevin and Tom, sisters Bridie and Pauline, nephews Oliver, Danny, Peter, Paul and Cathal, nieces Deirdre and Dorothy, sister-in-law Elizabeth, brother-in-law Billy, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends. Sean reposed in Donnellan's Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, on Saturday, December 2, with removal to St Mary's Church, Tooreen.
Funeral Mass on Sunday, December 3, at 1pm, followed by interment in Aghamore new cemetery.
