Hard luck to the Eoghan Rua minor girls who bowed out of the championship last week after suffering defeat to a stronger Curry side.
Although the championship campaign hasn’t gone the way the girls would have liked it to, they can still be proud of their efforts for the 2025 season and must not forget their league achievements winning the ACL Division 1 League back in May.
This marked the end of an era for a number of the girls as their underage football journey has come to an end. It has been an incredible journey for the girls and the club are so proud to have seen them progressing through the ages over the last number of years. The club wish those girls the very best of luck as they progress into the senior and junior adult ladies teams over the next couple of years.
"Thank you for always wearing our club crest with pride throughout the last number of year. Thanks also to the management team for the 2025 season - Bryan, Patrick and Tara," said the club.
The numbers drawn in the Enniscrone combined football clubs blotto draw, which was held on Sunday, August 24, were 3, 14 and 17.
