U21s

Hard luck to the Claremorris U21 team who were defeated by Castlebar Mitchels in the Mayo U21 A Final earlier this month.

Goals win games as the Mitchels rattled four winning on a 4-5 to 0-14 scoreline.

Heads up lads!

Family Resource Centre

They would like to win everyone a Happy Christmas and wonderful New Year.

Mick Mulherin in concert

Not only is Mick a talented artist, but he also engages with his audience in a thoroughly entertaining way, ensuring the night is filled with great music and craic!

All-Ireland Final

Massive commiserations to the Claremorris ladies team who lost the All-Ireland junior final to O’Donovan Rossa of Cork in Parnell Park.

It was a special year from the Girls in Blue as they gained promotion to intermediate for 2024, captured a Connacht title and made their first-ever All-Ireland final.

They lost on a scoreline of 2-7 to 0-11 as 16-year-old Éabha O’Donovan netted two goals for the Skibbereen side.

This Claremorris team has inspired a younger generation and given the town a real lift in the winter.

Thanks a million to Aidan Brennan and all of his management team for their work all year and to the girls for giving it their all and making everyone in Claremorris proud.

This is a very young team, typified by 16-year-old Isobel Phillips' performance in corner-back.

Claremorris (v O’Donovan Rossa): Claire Keane; Isobel Phillips, Ellie Maguire, Ashling Cummins; Amy Cummins, Síomha McNulty (0-1), Síle Hughes; Alana Fitzpatrick, Joanne Regan; Marina Cawley, Rebecca Kean (0-2f), Bree Hession (0-2); Ashleagh Sammon (0-2), Nina Wallace (0-1), Laura Kelly (0-3). Subs: Deirbhille Horkan, Kayleigh O’Brien, Sienna Kelly.
