Participants in the upcoming Jungle Challenge fundraiser, which is being organised by Ballinrobe Town AFC.
Ballinrobe Town AFC recently officially launched its Jungle Challenge fundraiser at a well-attended even in Inch’s Bar, Main Street, Ballinrobe.
The Jungle Challenge fundraiser is based on the reality TV show ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me out Of Here’ and will take place in the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, on Friday, May 31st. This innovative fundraiser is being run in conjunction with The Main Event Production Company, and there will be a live show on stage on the night, with big screens and TV cameras, which will also help showcase the event on the club’s various social media platforms.
It is hoped that this fundraiser will help the progressive club gain additional training space and upgrade and increase the facilities that the Robesiders have at The Green.
This event will hopefully kickstart a development fund that can be used to fund significant infrastructure developments for the club and ensure that as and when funding and growth opportunities arise, that they are in a strong position to capitalise on them.
At the aforementioned launch night, the 24 brave contestants (including Maria Walsh MEP who is also a former player of Ballinrobe Town Women’s team) got acquainted with ‘Monty’, the Burmese python snake.
