74th Annual Bonniconlon Agricultural Show & Gymkhana Bank Holiday Monday 4th August.

Bonniconlon Show takes place in the beautiful village of Bonniconlon, Co. Mayo and boasts a prize fund of up to €65,000.

This Year’s show will be opened by Minister Dara Calleary TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.

Based in North Mayo, Bonniconlon is a quintessential rural village on the outskirts of Ballina - a hospitable locality which opens its doors to over 30,000 people each year for the one-day show event. Famed for the Bank Holiday showcase, members of each annual show committee have worked tirelessly to develop and expand its award winning events.

There is a jam-packed programme and it prides itself on offering something of interest to young and old.

Our show is more than just an exhibition of live-stock, farm produce, flowers, cookery, trade stands and Horse jumping - it is a family orientated event which coincides with the August holiday period to bring exiles back together, and in doing so, has become a calendar staple throughout the West of Ireland and beyond.

120 Silver Cups to be won, 5 All Ireland Final Competitions and 10 All Ireland Qualifying Competitions.

A new Attraction for 2025 is the “Adrenaline Stunt Show Big Monster Truck Show.” Come and see them in Action on the Day!

Plenty Live music on the field all day to get your toes tapping!

Kicking off from early with Pat’s Country Road Show, Kelly’s Hero’s, Michael S & Clodagh Togher and local group Passion.

Dance the afternoon away to Mike Denver 2-4 pm, Michael English 4-6pm on the field.

Finish off Show Day by dancing the night away to Declan Nerney and his Band at the evening Show Dance in the Grove Hall 10pm until late.

A host of events for all the family, including a variety of children’s entertainment & disco, Bonny Baby Show and Junior Jiving Competition, The Rose of Bonniconlon, Glamorous Granny, Most Appropriately Dressed Lady & Gent. View a large Vintage Display with a wide variety of vehicles and machines.

Plenty of free parking available and free buses from parks to the show, Bonniconlon Agricultural Show & Gymkhana. Buses will be running from outside the Cathedral in Ballina every hour on the hour for €5 each way.

Entry fee to the show will be €15 per adult, National School children go free. Free park and ride services all day.
