Top acts to perform at Foxford Trad Weekend

Experience the vibrant essence of Ireland as the Foxford Traditional Weekend returns this week, uniting talented musicians, singers, and dancers in a captivating celebration of our rich cultural heritage.
From Friday to Sunday, October 18 to 20, this family-friendly festival promises a weekend full of lively music, soulful songs, energetic dancing, and authentic storytelling.
Prepare to be immersed in the infectious rhythms and melodies passed down through generations, while enjoying a full programme of concerts, workshops, master classes, a session trail, a rambling house, and events for all ages - from tots to seniors.
With a range of events spanning the weekend, festival-goers can look forward to performances by some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians. The weekend kicks off on Friday, October 18, with a headline concert featuring the much-loved Don Stiffe and the Hernon Family, alongside All-Ireland champions Hannah Lyons and Ryan Sheridan.
On Saturday, October 19, workshops will be led by celebrated musicians such as Steve Cooney, Bríd Harper, and Dermot Byrne. Later that evening, the 2024 Féile Concert showcases an outstanding line-up, including Bríd Harper, Steve Cooney, Dermot Byrne, June McCormack, and Michael Rooney, with special performances from Eoin O'Donnell and the Moffatt Dancers.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, October 20, with family-friendly activities like Trad for Tots and a Sean-nós Dance Taster Class.
