Philip Griffith is a national champion once again after winning gold at the National Community Games in Carlow last month.
The Balla native, who was a winner of a award earlier this year, took home the gold in the U12 600m.
The athletic talents certainly run in the family as his brother Henry claimed the bronze in the U14 hurdles
