A strong first and third quarter laid the foundation for this Cup victory for Ballina Pacers under-14 girls over Ballintubber Bulls at the De La Salle Hall, Castlebar.

Pacers literally set the pace from the tip-off and took the first quarter 10-4, but the Ballintubber ladies were having none of it as they bounced back to take the second quarter to reduce the gap to 4, 18-14 to Pacers.

Another strong quarter in the third was really to leave the ‘Tubber girls with an uphill battle as Pacers won it 10-4 again.
