Stagg named new chairperson of Mayo LGFA

Sinéad Stagg has been ratified as the new Chairperson of the Mayo LGFA following the annual general meeting at the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar, last week.
The former All-Ireland winning footballer and manager, a member of Hollymount Ladies GAA Club succeeds the outgoing Des Phillips (Kilmovee) while vice-chairperson Helen O’Hara Castlebar Mitchels LGFA) has replaced Carnacon’s Michael McHale.
Stagg won All-Ireland titles as a player with Ballinrobe Community School and Mayo while she led the Mayo U14’s girls to the All-Ireland Platinum championship in 2023.
