Saturday sport: Ireland face South African test, Liverpool trail against Forest

All eyes will be on the Aviva Stadium as Ireland take on South Africa in their final game of the Autumn Nations Series.

Ireland has won four of the last five meetings with the Springboks, including a pool-stage victory at the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Before that, Wales face a tough task when they host New Zealand at Cardiff from 3:10pm.

While at 8:10pm, Joe Schmidt's reign as Australia's head coach concludes with a test against France in Paris

Soccer

Liverpool are 1-0 down at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Murillo has given the away side the advantage at Anfield.

Elsewhere, Callum Wilson has scored twice to give West Ham a 2-0 lead over his former club Bournemouth.

Meanwhile Brentford have a 1-0 lead away at Brighton thanks to Thiago's penalty.

It's scoreless between Wolves and Crystal Palace and in the game between Fulham and Sunderland.

Chelsea are up to second in the Premier League table this afternoon.

This evening, Manchester City could go to within a point of leaders Arsenal.

The first of this weekend's Ulster club senior football semi-finals is down for decision this afternoon.

Seamus Power is bidding to close in on the top three on Day Three of the RSM Classic in Georgia later.
