LOI: Shamrock Rovers have seven-point lead at top after Bohemians and St Pat's drop points
Shamrock Rovers' lead at the top of the League of Ireland is at seven points after St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians missed their chances to make ground.
Following Shamrock Rovers' draw with Drogheda on Friday, St Patrick's drew 1-1 with Derry City in Richmond Park.
Aidan Kenna scored a penalty in the 27th minute, but James Clarke equalised in the 72nd minute to share the spoils.
Bohemians also missed the chance to close the gap further after a 1-1 draw to Galway United.
Colm Whelan's goal in the 23rd minute gave Bohemians the lead, before Aaron Bolger equalised 13 minutes later.
At the other end of the table, Waterford boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 win at home to Shelbourne.
Tom Lonergan's goal in the 48th minute ensured Waterford went three points ahead of Sligo Rovers.
