Mayo’s rising star of the golf world has received his latest international call-up. John William Burke from Ballyhaunis has been picked on the Irish U16 boys team to play England at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club this Saturday, October 5.
The action at the Somerset venue will get underway with the morning Foursomes. Joining John William Burke on the team are Eoin Burrows (Belvoir Park), Adam Fahey (Portmarnock), John Moran (Portmarnock), Isaac Oliver (Ballinasloe) and Harry O’Hara (Clandeboye).
The team coach is Ian Kearney while the captain is Liam Troy (Thurles).
