Swinford is centre stage for uneven runners
The U15 Girls teams who were placed at the Mayo Cross Country Championships, Westport (1st), Moy Valley (2nd) and Swinford (3rd).
Athletics: The Westnet Mayo Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships were hosted by Swinford Athletic Club in Mellett’s Hill, Swinford on Sunday, October 6 where over 350 athletes from all over the county took part. Brilliant sunshine made for a very pleasant day on a challenging course where all of the races were very competitive, with athletes doing their clubs and families proud. A special congratulations to those who were competing for the first time. Participation medals were presented to the U9 girls and boys.
U9 Girls:
