'So proud' - athletics club in Mayo honours native Olympian ahead of Paris 2024 Olympics

An athletics club in Mayo has paid tribute to a native Olympian.
Erris Athletic Club remarked that they are "so proud" of Belmullet native Sinead Diver who will compete in this summer's Olympic Games
in Paris.
Driver (47), who lived in Ireland until she was 25, will run in the marathon and represent her adopted Australia in her second Olympics appearance.
In 2021, Driver became the oldest athletic competitor to represent Australia in the 2020 Olympic Games at the age of 44.
