Olympics 2024: West of Ireland Olympians competing in Paris

The opening ceremony of Paris' Olympic Games takes place this Friday (6.30pm - Irish time).
Although the official opening of the 2024 Olympics is on July 26, events such as men's soccer and men's rugby sevens got underway today (Wednesday, July 24).
Team Ireland are sending 133 competitors to this year's Olympics - their largest-ever squad.
