Merry Monk cruise to win in U20 National League
Merry Monk's U20 side enjoyed an impressive win over Killorglin.
Merry Monk Ballina put on a clinic in the Ballina Sports Complex last night after running out 42-point winners over Killorglin in the U20 National League.
They led 21-9 after the first period, with Conor Burke accounting for nine points and Mark Cunningham's outstanding display saw them stretch their lead at half-time to 43-21.
A 13-0 run in the third saw their advantage grow even further, 67-30, with Cunningham scoring nine points before Theo Daly stole the show in final quarter with 11 points as they closed out a 88-46 win.
