Conor Heneghan and John O'Shea celebrate after winning the MODUS International Pairs week title.

Conor Heneghan added another MODUS darts title to his name after he and Cork’s John O’Shea won the International Pairs Week last Saturday, defeating Welsh duo Kurt Parry and former world champion Richie Burnett in the final.

The Roundfort native and O’Shea, who is a former World Masters champion and PDC Tour Card holder, finished second in their group, beating Parry and Burnett as well as Jimmy Van Schie and Danny Van Trijp of the Netherlands to reach the semi-finals.

After beating Sweden’s Andreas Harrysson and Anton Ostlund 4-2 in the semis, Parry and Burnett were the opponents once more in the decider, and Heneghan pinned double 8 with his last dart in hand to defeat Wales 4-2 for the title.
