Shane Lowry is the talk of the sporting world after his heroics at the 2025 Ryder Cup.
The Offaly native was the man who kept his cool and holed an important birdie putt on the 18th hole to retain the Ryder Cup for Europe.

The USA fought back on the final day at New York's Bethpage Black Golf Course, but Europe eventually did enough to win on American soil.
Among those paying tribute to Lowry on social media was Ireland West Airport Knock.
They had a very clever post on Lowry's epic celebration by posting a picture of the historic moment and captioning it with, "When your Ryanair flight lands in Tenerife ten minutes ahead of schedule."
