Mayo GAA issue update on county finals due to weather warning
Mayo GAA thank all supporters for their understanding and continued support and look forward to welcoming everyone to Hastings Insurance MacHale Park for the rescheduled County Finals over the weekend.
Mayo GAA have rescheduled Saturday's county finals following the weather warning issued as part of Storm Boelo.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange Wind warning on Saturday for Mayo, which will come into effect from 2pm until 9am on Sunday.
A Status Yellow Rain Warning will be in effect prior to this from 4am on Saturday until 3pm later that day.
This may lead to difficult travelling conditions and localised flooding. A Status Yellow Wind Warning will also be in effect from 1pm Saturday overnight until 12pm on Sunday.
The Intermediate and Junior B finals were due to take place on Saturday in MacHale Park. However, due to the weather warnings, the games have been postponed until Sunday.
The Intermediate final, between Davitts and Ballinrobe, will now take place on Sunday as part of a triple header.
The Bank Holiday Monday will now see Ballycastle take on Swinford.
Supporters who purchased tickets for Saturday’s games will automatically receive a refund. Those wishing to attend the rescheduled fixtures this weekend will need to purchase new tickets.
