Special concert at historic Ballina building

James Kilbane performs a very special concert in Ballina next Sunday.
St Michael’s Church, one of Ballina's most cherished historic landmarks, will play host next Sunday to a special evening of country and gospel music with renowned singer James Kilbane. This concert will raise much-needed funds for the ongoing restoration of this treasured site.
Built in the 1760s, St Michael’s Church has been a centre of faith and community, serving as a place of continuous worship since its construction. However, time has taken its toll, and the building is in urgent need of repairs, including work on its roof, plaster and gutters which will run in costs to many thousands of euros. This concert is an opportunity for the local community and beyond to help preserve this important piece of Ballina’s history while enjoying a memorable night of music.
James Kilbane, beloved for his soulful voice and heart-warming performances, will bring his unique blend of country and gospel music to St Michael’s. Rising to fame 20 years ago on the popular TV show
, Kilbane has since released 13 albums and over 35 singles, achieving multi-platinum sales and a global fan base.
