Seán to perform festive show in Enniscrone
Seán Keane will perform in Enniscrone in December.
'A Christmas Evening with Seán Keane' will take place in the Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Enniscrone, on Sunday, December 13th, at 6pm, bringing together music, community and Christmas spirit for what promises to be a memorable evening in the seaside village.
One of Ireland’s most distinctive and celebrated voices, Seán Keane is renowned for his unmistakable vocal style, musicianship and storytelling through song. The Enniscrone concert will have an especially local dimension, with pupils from Scoil Chríost Rí joining Seán for a special Christmas performance.
The concert will also serve as Scoil Chríost Rí’s whole-school Christmas performance for 2026, giving pupils from across the school the opportunity to be involved in what will be a very special occasion for the children and their families.
The evening will also support an exciting project for the school, with 50% of event profits going directly to Scoil Chríost Rí towards the development of a new inclusive school playground.
Principal Ellen Costigan said the school is delighted to have the opportunity to bring such a special event to Enniscrone.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Seán Keane to Enniscrone and particularly thrilled that our pupils will have the opportunity to perform alongside him. It will be a very special experience for the children and a wonderful opportunity for our whole community to come together and celebrate Christmas.
“We are currently working towards the development of a new inclusive playground at Scoil Chríost Rí, and funds raised through the concert will help us move closer to making that a reality. We hope people from Enniscrone and across Sligo and Mayo will join us for what promises to be a really memorable Christmas evening.”
The school hopes the concert will attract not only local families, but music lovers from across the wider Sligo and Mayo region for a unique Christmas evening in Enniscrone.
Tickets are €30 for adults and €20 for children aged 4–15, with children under four admitted free where they do not require a separate seat.
