Time running out to enter fundraising draw for stunning prize
The draw for the Volkswagon Taigo will take place on New Year's Day
There are only four days remaining to win a car for €20, while supporting a local cause.
The 5th Mayo Scout Group, Ballina, in association with Connolly Motor Group, will hold a raffle on New Year's Day for a Volkswagon Taigo.
Funds raised will support the Scout Group's construction of a new Den.
The 5th Mayo Scout Group currently occupies an old, deteriorated building on busy Teeling Street in Ballina, County Mayo.
The building poses a safety hazard for the children who attend the group.
Ballina Municipal District has generously provided a green field site in Belleek, Ballina, adjacent to the woods, where the group will construct a new Scouts den.
The Maloney Group has sponsored their engineering services, and planning permission has been granted for the proposed development.
The site's location is ideal, right next to Belleek woods, trails, and walkways.
The new Scouts den will provide a safe and welcoming space for the scout group's activities.
