St Colman's College launch new online lotto
School principal Roy Hession said there has been wonderful support for St Colman's College.
St Colman's College in Claremorris has launched a new online lotto fundraising initiative to raise vital funds for various areas in the school.
The funding will directly support the education of students as well as provide sports equipment and return bus transport to sporting and extra-curricular events. Transport costs have escalated for schools in recent years due to rising fuel prices and associated expenses.
The first draw is on Thursday night, November 30, at 8pm and principal Roy Hession said the lotto is very simple to join and people can scan the QR code on the school's website at www.stcolmans.ie or its Facebook and Instagram social media sites.
Mr Hession said there has always been wonderful support from the Claremorris community for St Colman's College and he hopes families and friends, past pupils, local businesses and anyone who has any association with the college will support the venture.
