From today (February 9), passengers on TFI Local Link Mayo's regular services can pay their fares using contactless payment options, including debit and credit cards, as well as mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Edmund Betagh, TFI Local Link Programme Manager at the NTA, welcomed the development, saying: "Introducing contactless payments is a significant milestone for rural transport in Mayo. It gives passengers in smaller towns and villages more flexibility in how they pay and strengthens the role of TFI Local Link in connecting communities across the county."
