Met Eireann have warned it will be very cold with frost and icy stretches with hazardous conditions on roads and paths. They have asked that people please exercise caution.

The status yellow warning comes as part of an overall advisory from Met about a transition to significantly colder conditions this week, with the first cold snap of the winter season setting in over the coming days.
