Mary Martin, Ballina Volunteer Co-ordinator with volunteers from Ballina, Ballycastle, Killala, Bangor Erris and Belmullet, presenting the cheque to Mary Murray, Community Fundraising Officer with the Irish Cancer Society.

The Irish Cancer Society would like to thank all the incredible volunteers in Ballina, Ballycastle, Killala, Bangor Erris and Belmullet for their continued support on Daffodil Day.

Through the hard work of the volunteers and the generosity of the public, a phenomenal €50,194.20 was raised in the North Mayo area on Daffodil Day.

The Irish Cancer Society provides support and care to those with and affected by cancer all over Ireland. Its services are free of charge, and with just 5% funding from the State, the organisation is almost entirely funded through the generosity of the public.

Your incredible support and generosity will continue to bring real benefits to the lives of cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Together, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer in Ireland.
