New principal appointed to Mayo secondary school

The Board of Management of Mount St Michael Secondary School in Claremorris has announced the appointment of Aisling McAlpine as the school's new principal.

The Board said it extends its sincere congratulations to Aisling and wishes her every success as she takes up "this important leadership role within our school community".

The Board also extended its heartfelt thanks to Ciarán Ryan for his dedicated service as Principal over the past four years.

"We look forward to this new chapter for Mount St Michael Secondary School and to continuing to provide a supportive and enriching educational experience for all our students."
