National award for Ballina make-up artist

Amanda Conlon received the award at a ceremony held at The Johnstown Estate, Co Meath.

A Ballina make-up artist has taken home a national title after being named Beauty and Makeup Supplier of the Year at the WeddingSuppliers.ie National Wedding Industry Awards 2026.

Amanda Conlon received the award at a ceremony held at The Johnstown Estate, Co Meath, on Tuesday, February 3.

Amanda is best known for bridal work, while also taking on film and TV projects. With more than 17 years’ experience in the bridal sector, she said she was “delighted and honoured” to receive the recognition.

In a message after the awards on her social media, she paid tribute to fellow finalists in what she described as a “huge category” and thanked those who have supported her work.

“Thank you to everyone who has voted for me and who has sent in amazing reviews. I have received such lovely messages of congratulations, I would like to thank each and everyone for all their kind words and support,” she said.

“I would also like to give a special thankyou to all my brides for choosing me as their make-up artist over the years and making this happen."

Amanda was one of two Mayo winners in the WeddingSuppliers.ie awards. Breaffy House Hotel was named the winner of the Wedding Venue of the Year – Connacht Award.

“We’re beyond proud to be named Wedding Suppliers - Connacht Venue of the Year,” Breaffy House Hotel said in a social media post.

“A huge thank you to our incredible team and to every couple who trusted us with their special day.” 

The WeddingSuppliers.ie awards bring together wedding businesses from around the country, recognising suppliers across a wide range of categories.
