Mayo businesses celebrate success at prestigious food awards

Mayo businesses were honoured last night at the Good Food Ireland Awards.

Artisan butchers Kelly's of Newport was named Overall Producer of the Year and Meat Producer of the Year. In addition, Westport restaurant An Port Mór won the Restaurant of the Year award.

The winners of the Good Food Ireland Awards were announced during a distinguished dinner at The K Club. A total of seven Mayo businesses were shortlisted across various categories.

The Good Food Ireland Awards celebrates businesses that prioritise fresh, local produce. The ultimate goal of the event is to encourage and support local economies and communities.
